A truck fire on I-476 southbound between South Exit 16 on I-76/Schuylkill Expressway (in West Conshohocken) and South Exit 9 on PA 3 (in Marple Township) has closed all southbound I-476 lanes, according to PennDOT.

The accident occurred about 4:27 p.m., according to PennDOT.

The refrigerated truck was carrying frozen french fries, according to 6abc.

Responding fire companies included West Conshohoken, Haverford Township, Radnor, Bryn Mawr, Marple Township and Newtown, according to the Main Line Times.

Police have been directing traffic onto Route 30, causing backups in both directions, according to the Main Line Times.
