1. The Tuesday night season 10 premiere of PBS's History Detectives, about Rock 'n' Roll history, features Bryn Mawr's Gold Million Records. History detective Gwen Wright stopped by the store for part of a segment about Frank Zappa. The show airs locally on WHYY at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
2. Lower Merion School District's board on Monday night will consider whether to buy a parcel of land adjacent to Welsh Valley Middle School. The board meets at 8 p.m. Monday and has posted the meeting's agenda online.
3. Plans for Gladwyne Library renovations will be discussed at a Wednesday night library committee meeting after the topic was tabled at last week's meeting.
4. Former Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne Patch contributor and Ardmore-Merion-Wynnewood Patch editor Thomas J. Walsh is to be confirmed Wednesday night as Lower Merion Township's public information officer.
5. Patch will follow up with Lower Merion police for any updates on Sunday's discovery of a body in a submerged van.
