The Birth Center Celebrates Its New Year's Baby
The first baby of the year was born at the midwifery practice on Jan. 2.
Troy Scott Whittle was the first baby born at The Birth Center in Bryn Mawr in 2013.
He was born on January 2, 2013 at 9 p.m. weighing in at 8 lbs. 9 oz. and 21 inches long. Troy is the third baby boy in the family to be born at The Birth Center to parents Gina and Scott Whittle of West Chester.
The Birth Center, founded in 1978, is a nonprofit that provides a midwifery model of women’s health care.
