A tire came off a truck Monday morning on the Schuylkill Expressway in South Philadelphia, damaging a building's roof, NBC 10 reported.
According to PennDOT, the tire struck another expressway vehicle about 9:50 a.m., then bounced and came through the roof of a Philadelphia Housing Authority building on the 1900 block of Vare Avenue.
NBC reported no one in the building was hurt, and a woman in the car that was hit was hospitalized but not believed to be seriously hurt.
