Police Blotter: Residents Arrested for DUI, Public Intoxication
The following information has been supplied by the Lower Merion Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
On Monday afternoon, Lower Merion police reported to news media the following incidents from the past week:
Public intoxication: A 21-year-old Bryn Mawr resident and a 19-year-old Haverford resident were arrested about 2:40 a.m. Wednesday at Lancaster and Thomas avenues in Bryn Mawr. The 19-year-old also was charged with underage drinking.
Public intoxication: A 22-year-old Bryn Mawr resident was arrested on the 1000 block of Lancaster Avenue about 2 a.m. Friday.
DUI: A 60-year-old Gladwyne resident was charged with driving under the influence about 12:45 a.m. Saturday when he arrived at the Lower Merion police station to pick up a woman who had been arrested. The man's blood alcohol content measured 0.086, police said.
Public intoxication: A 22-year-old man from Langranville, NY, was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct after he was seen urinating on the sidewalk at Lancaster and Roberts avenues about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.

I wish the police would take a look at the front of 900 Montgomery Avenue any night about 2am. They'll see plenty of public drunkenness.
