On Monday afternoon, Lower Merion police reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne:

Theft from building: An iPhone was stolen from an office desk in Bryn Mawr Hospital between 7:40 p.m. and 7:55 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26.

Public intoxication: Kelly Lynch, 20, of Northport, NY, was arrested about 2:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27 on the 800 block of West Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr.

Burglary: Someone attempted about 10:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27 to break into a home on the 700 block of Merion Square Road in Gladwyne. An alarm was triggered, and police arrived at the home to find glass broken out of the front door but nothing missing from the house.
