Police Activity: Thefts, Car Crashes

Police also responded to 10 reports of suspicious people.

 

Lower Merion police responded to 201 calls the week of Aug. 6 through Aug. 12 throughout Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne, slightly down from 202 calls the previous week, department records show.

A version of the department's most recent report, sorted by the type of incident with incidents from the rest of Lower Merion removed, is attached to this article.

During that week, police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) included:

  • 1 incident of compromised identity
  • 10 car crashes with property damage
  • 10 reports of suspicious people, circumstances or vehicles
  • 5 thefts, two of which were over $200
