Normal Collection of Trash and Recycling for Veterans Day
The holiday falls on Sunday but will be observed Monday.
Refuse and recycling will be collected in Lower Merion Township on Monday and throughout next week according to the regular schedule, not the adjusted schedule for holidays, the township has announced.
Veterans Day falls every year on Nov. 11, but when it is a Sunday as it is this year, the holiday is observed on Monday.
Township government offices and libraries also will be open on Monday.
