Man Charged With Bank Robbery in Bryn Mawr
Omar Muse was already in police custody in connection with a Conshohocken robbery.
A Philadelphia man was on Thursday charged with robbing the Bryn Mawr Wells Fargo bank last Friday, three days after he was arrested in connection with another bank robbery in Conshohocken.
Omar Muse, 30, is charged with first-degree felony robbery with threat of immediate serious injury, as well as misdemeanor counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats and possession of an instrument of crime, according to court documents.
Muse was arrested Monday and charged with robbing a TD Bank in Conshohocken the previous day. In each robbery, surveillance footage showed the robber's face as he presented a demand note to a teller.
Muse is due in court Friday, Oct. 26, for a preliminary hearing. He is being held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500,000 bail.
