Gladwyne Police Calls: Crashes and Theft

39 neighborhood incidents were recorded in the week ending Jan. 27.

 

Lower Merion police responded to 39 incidents in the neighborhood of Gladwyne in the week ending Sunday, Jan. 27, according to LMPD statistics.

A list of those incidents is attached to this article, sorted by type. Incident descriptions do not necessarily indicate arrests or convictions.

Incidents included:

  • 13 alarm activations
  • 1 accidental fire alarm
  • 2 fire investigations
  • 3 home accidents
  • 3 traffic offenses
  • 1 car crash with injuries, about 4:45 p.m. Jan. 25 on the 700 block of Mill Creek Road in Gladwyne
  • 2 car crashes with property damage, about 9:35 a.m. Jan. 22 at Williamson and Youngs Ford roads and about 7:05 p.m. Jan. 26 at Mill Creek Road and Grays Lane
  • 1 theft of more than $200 in value, about 10:50 a.m. Jan. 22 from the 1600 block of Spring Mill Road
  • 1 transport to the hospital
