1. Family Campout at Riverbend

  • When/Where: 6 p.m. on Friday, June 24 to 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 25 at Riverbend Environmental Education Center
  • Why Go: Get a chance to go camping without being too far from home. Bring a tent and sleeping bags and Riverbend will take care of the food, fire and staff. Pre-registration required, contact Stacy at scarr@riverbendeec.org or 610-527-5234 x108.
  • Cost: $80/family ($70/family for members)

2. Bryn Mawr Twilight Concert Series: Susan Werner w/ The Night Cafe

  • When/Where: 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 25 at The Bryn Mawr Gazebo, 9 S. Bryn Mawr Ave.
  • Why Go: Enjoy country and soul-inspired singer/songwriter Susan Werner and opening act The Night Cafe at Bryn Mawr's Twilight Concert Series. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the music. Parking for the concert is free, and the concert will be held outdoors, rain or shine.
  • Cost: Donation is $10 per person, children ages 16 and younger are free

3. Swan Lake at BMFI

  • When/Where: 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 26 at Bryn Mawr Film Institute
  • Why Go: This showing of Swan Lake, as performed by the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, is conducted by Pavel Sorokin. Prima ballerina Mariya Aleksandrova dances both Odette and Odile's roles (the white and black swans) in this adaptation.
  • Cost: $20 general admission, $18 for BMFI members, $10 for students with ID

5. Pennsylvania SPCA Dog Walk

  • When/Where: 9:30 a.m. for registration; walk begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 26 at Wilson Farm Park, 500 Lee Road, Chesterbrook, PA 19087
  • Why Go: The Pennsylvania SPCA will host a community Dog Walk in Chesterbrook on Sunday to raise money for the organization. You can walk as an individual, on a team, or sponsor the shelter's dogs to walk.
  • Cost: Registration is $25 for individuals, $100 for teams
