Chevy, Blackberry Stolen in Bryn Mawr

Read about two recent thefts.

 

According to the Lower Merion Police Department, two thefts recently took place in Bryn Mawr.

Theft:

A Blackberry Curve smartphone valued at $100 was stolen from a locker at the Baldwin School last month, the complainant told police on Feb. 18. A student went to her locker and placed her phone in an unsecured cubby hole in the morning when she arrived, and returned the next day to see that it was missing, police said.

Vehicle theft:

A white 2006 Chevrolet Equinox was stolen last week in the area of the 1000 block of County Line Road in Bryn Mawr, police said. Sometime between Feb. 21 at 9:30 p.m. and Feb. 22 at 8:51 a.m., the vehicle went missing. No broken glass or other signs of force were found, according to the report. The report does not indicate whether the vehicle was locked.
