KenCrest’s Rosemont Child Care Center Gets a Helping Hand from Rosemont College Volunteers
Thirteen volunteers from Rosemont College were on hand Thursday August 23rd to help the KenCrest’s Rosemont Child Care Center with cleaning, handy work and classroom preparations to help create a fun and safe environment and experience for all of the children who attend. These volunteers, mostly comprised of college Resident Directors, were getting their hands dirty scrubbing, and making sure the classrooms look fun and inviting when the children arrive. Spirits were high as these enthusiastic volunteers decorated and cleaned the classrooms with pride.
KenCrest’s Rosemont Child Care Center provides Early Intervention services for children with developmental disabilities and also day care with peers without disabilities in an inclusive environment. Close to 75 children attend the center, which is conveniently located near Villanova University, Rosemont College, Bryn Mawr Hospital and scores of businesses along Lancaster Avenue.
