Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation Announces Appointment of New Director

BRYN MAWR, Pa., August 23, 2011— Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation today announced that Jerry L. Johnson, Principal Partner of Heffler, Radetich and Saitta, LLP, has been elected to its Board of Directors.


Mr. Johnson brings to the Board significant public company, corporate, and business, related experience. He has a wealth of knowledge in the financial services and telecommunications industries and has served on the boards of many private and nonprofit organizations, including bank and trust companies.


Ted Peters, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “We are honored to have an executive with Jerry’s  experience, talent and knowledge joining our Board. Technology is playing such an important role in how we grow and manage our business, and Jerry will provide a valuable strategic perspective as we deal with the complexities of many of these new opportunities.”

Mr. Johnson has almost 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, along with venture capital management experience. He was formerly Chairman of Radnor Trust, Chairman of RTC Holdings, Vice Chairman of PRWT Services, Inc., and President of eMoney Advisor, Inc.
